How to Create a Contact Card
Your networking profile β step-by-step guide
Your contact card is your networking profile for the event. It lets other attendees find you in the Participant Directory, learn what you do, and connect with you on your social platforms.
Step 1 β Profile
Go to My Profile β Contact Card from the navigation menu. The edit page shows a multi-step form on the left and a Live Preview of your card on the right.
In the Profile step, upload your avatar (JPG or PNG, max 2 MB) and fill in:
- Full Name β your display name (pre-filled from your account)
- Company / Organisation β where you work
- Introduction β your job title or a one-line bio
- Description β a longer bio describing your work and what you are looking for at this event
All text fields support both English and Bulgarian. Use the π¬π§ / π§π¬ tabs inside the form to switch between languages. If you only fill one language, the other falls back automatically.
Click Save & Continue to move to the next step.
Step 2 β Links
Add links to your professional profiles and website. Each row has a type selector (External URL or Social platform) and a URL field. Supported platforms include LinkedIn, X (Twitter), GitHub, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Click Add link to add more rows. Links appear as platform icons on your public card.
Step 3 β Details
Add your city, country, spoken languages (Languages), and professional interests (Interests & Expertise). Set your visibility from the Privacy & Visibility section:
- Draft β only you can see it. Use while you are still filling it in.
- Private β visible to organisers and staff; share via direct link only.
- Public β listed in the Participant Directory and visible to all attendees. Recommended for networking.
Your card stays in Draft until you explicitly set it to Public and save. A fully completed card will not appear in the directory while it is a Draft.
Preview & Share
Click Preview at the top of the form to see your card as attendees see it. From the preview page you can copy the direct link or share to LinkedIn, X, Facebook, or WhatsApp.
Participant Directory
All Public contact cards appear in the Directory, accessible from the main navigation. Attendees can search by name and filter by interests or location.
